Accessibility statement.

Last updated: 14 October 2026.

This statement applies to urbanwheelzcargo.com, operated by WeMobile Urban Wheelz Cargo B.V. (trading as Urban Wheelz). Full company details are in our Legal notice.

Urban Wheelz wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion.

How accessible this site is

We are working to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Based on our own testing this site is believed to meet that standard, but it has not yet been independently audited, so we describe it as partially conformant until it has.

What we have done

  • Keyboard: every interactive element — nav links, language switcher, the version buttons under the drawing, form fields, submit button, cookie banner — is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline that meets the contrast requirement.
  • Skip link: a "Skip to content" link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches, so the nav can be bypassed.
  • Structure: one <h1> per page, headings in order, and real landmark elements (header, nav, main, footer) rather than unlabelled divs.
  • Images: every drawing carries a description written for the purpose, not a filename. The line under the main drawing is separate from that description, because a caption and an alt text are not the same thing.
  • Motion: the main drawing changes the box every few seconds. It has a pause button, pauses while you hover over it or use its buttons, and stops for good once you choose a version yourself. Its changing caption is only announced to screen readers after you choose. The crossfade and the eased smooth-scroll respect prefers-reduced-motion: if your system asks for reduced motion, the drawing does not change on its own at all and scrolling jumps directly.
  • Forms: every field has a real <label>, errors are announced in text next to the field they belong to, and the form works without JavaScript.
  • Colour: dark ink text on a light background (about 13.5:1). The accent colour is used for short labels and large text only, where it also clears the AA contrast ratio.
  • Language: each page declares its language, and the EN/NL alternates are marked up so assistive technology announces the switch correctly.

Known limitations

  • Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form. It is designed to be non-interactive for most visitors, but if it does present a challenge, that challenge is Cloudflare's and not under our control. If it blocks you, email us directly and we will answer that way.
  • No independent audit yet. See above.

Tell us when we get it wrong

If something on this site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to know — that report is more useful to us than any checklist.

Email info@urbanwheelzcargo.com with what you were trying to do and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days, and to offer another way to reach the same outcome in the meantime.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) (acm.nl). Since 28 June 2025 the ACM has supervised the accessibility of e-commerce and electronic communication services in the Netherlands under the European Accessibility Act, as implemented by the Implementatiewet toegankelijkheidsvoorschriften producten en diensten.
